THE FOOD: The portions were decent and even sufficient for two persons per plate. Bulgogi (stir-fried beef with vegetables) was one of our top picks, the beef was tender and the vegetables were well seasoned and well cooked chicken sweet and sour: it was exquisite! it wasn't oily like we've tried it before at a reputable place called Gaya, was saucy and a bit crunchy. The best dish in the menu so far! -The fried dumplings: it wasn't good at all, they were crumply and the stuffing was soggy mince. I gave it 1/10 just for being edible. Jabchebab (glass noodles with veggies and rice): the glass noodles was so yummy and the veggies was like OMG, i was really surprised by how it was perfectly cooked and seasoned, it was perfect! But what doesn't make it the best dish is the rice that was mushy, sticky, not seasoned at all! Kimchi: it wasn't well-seasoned like the one we've had at Gaya restaurant but the one at Gaya also isn't the best Kimchi you can try. Jajajangmeon ( noodles with stir-fried bean past): I don't recommend it! Yes this is personal. at the end it's a menu worth trying out and discovering! The Service: the staff was so polite and nice and that's really something worth mentioning. The atmosphere: there were Korean people at all the tables which implies that the place is popular among Korean people in Egypt. The place was authentically Korean decoratively and also cozy and clean. There was nothing in the theme that might look incongruous or not pleasing to the eye or out of context and there was a big tv screen displaying...
Read moreThe taste for the foods became not so good as 4 years we went there, some dishes are too salty , the Zanjiang noodle totally no taste which I don’t recommend it ! Bibiba is just a vegetarian dishes, no meat inside like other restaurants! The seafood pancake not crispy enough at surface ! The young staff is good in service, but the boss and a older staff showed us the stinky face when we asked to move the table together due to we have many friends went there to eat together even it’s no customer totally at that time ! The good thing is they gave everyone the free appetizer dishes , not like other Korean restaurant...
Read moreThis is by far the best Korean food I tried in Cairo. The decor of the place is authentic and the owner is Korean.
The staff are helpful and I found the prices reasonable compared to the portions (with a few dishes leaning towards a bit expensive).
We tried several types of noodles and all were exceptional. The sweet and sour and the hot and sour chicken were both absolutely wonderful.
The starter dishes were also really good and I particularly liked the kimchee.
Thank you for a wonderful night out. Definitely won't be my...
