Café Greco — Restaurant in Cairo

I got a dirty experience and I wish i could rate under zero not even one star . What happened let me felt the coffee taste is awful & disgusting. After i sat outdoor with my coffee the waiter came told me that he to take the tables & chairs to inside. So I told him where I am going to sit? He answered you can sit inside. I entered inside thinking that he will put the chair inside as the cafe was full. I found that he disappeared and i am standing in the middle of the cafe as a beggar. Then I found the waiter and asked him where is my chair.? He told me ask the manager. I asked the manager and this is his reply “ it’s not my concern, what can i do? Go and sit with anyone!!!! I told him how ? I told him you must provide me a chair ! Or you can tell the clients to share their tables ! I was mocking him !!! I didn’t believe that he will ask a client to sit with her!! But He asked her , the lady shouted at him and refused and told him that she is waiting for someone. Me also I shouted at him and told him i dont want to sit with her . So this is evidence that he is crazy , impolite, and have mangerial skills .he gave bad impact for the place. I told him i will make a complain and he agreed and said ok . I asked him about his name he told me his name is EMAD HASSAN - the Manager of the place . You must all know this and i will never go there again . I will spit on the cafe whenever I pass by . I will also share this on Facebook and to Maadian groups...

What you hear all the time about cafe Greco makes you dream about it all the time as a distention for coffee lovers but unfortunately when you visit the place and try it yourself it's not as you expected at all the crew is very professional and the shop decoration is amazing but the quality of the coffee isn't up to the reputation of cafe Greco i don't know why or if it was one time only thing but it wasn't a good experience for me...

The place is very nice and relaxed. The staff were excellent and also very nice!

I felt that the price you pay vs what you get is not the greatest, but at the same time it is still very insignificant as a cost if you are a foreigner.

Music is quiet and relaxed. You can use your laptop here if you like.

The restrooms are relatively clean, better than most you will find in Egypt.
