This dinner was to be a special occasion. It was anything but. First of all, the service was very poor. Our meals came and we still were not given forks etc. This was after the salads were in front of us. We asked three times for a fork. Then no napkins, and our orders were not given in a timely manner so we could enjoy our meal together. We asked for grilled fish was asked if we wanted to have made with butter or oil. When that order came, we asked what was butter and which was oil? The answer was that they are mixed together. No apologies were ever given what the orders came out in parts and not correctly. We had to fight to get our rice after the server stated that we didn't order only to find out that he didn't put the order in. We asked to see the manager and he wasn't attentive either. There were 8 of us. It will NOT be a restaurant that I can truly recommend. This was very embarrassing for me to experience. I can't believe how highly this place was recommended. زيارتي إلى مطعم البرج للمأكولات البحرية في القاهرة كانت تجربة ممتعة ومُرضية من عدة جوانب، خاصة لعشاق الأكل البحري المصري.

الإيجابيات: • السرعة في تقديم الطلبات كانت ملحوظة، دون تأخير يُذكر. • سهولة العثور على موقف للسيارة بالقرب من المطعم كانت ميزة كبيرة، خاصة في منطقة مزدحمة. • طاقم العمل محترم جدًا، يتميزون باللباقة والصبر في التعامل، ويقدمون المساعدة بابتسامة وهدوء. • أما بالنسبة للطعام، فبعض الأصناف كانت لذيذة ومطهية بإتقان، خاصة السمك المشوي، الأرز بالجمبري، والسبيط المقلي.

السلبيات الطفيفة: • ليست كل أنواع السمك المعروضة كانت تبدو طازجة تمامًا، وكان بالإمكان تحسين طريقة العرض أو الانتقاء. • أحجام الجمبري والكابوريا كانت صغيرة نسبيًا، ورغم الطعم الجيد، إلا أن السعر كان مرتفعًا مقارنة بالحجم.

الخلاصة: مطعم البرج يقدم تجربة بحرية طيبة ومرضية من حيث الخدمة والطعم والتنظيم، لكنه يحتاج لمزيد من العناية بتنوع الأسماك وجودتها وتناسب السعر مع الحجم.

أنصح به لتجربة بحرية سريعة وخدمة راقية في أجواء مصرية تقليدية.
