HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The food is very authentic Indian food, as they have 2 Indian chefs in the restaurant, who are very friendly.

Food recommendations based on my experience:

1. lamb with cashew sauce
2. Butter chicken
3. Kati roll (chicken tikka rolled in nan bread , there is also kofta Indian style rolled in nan bread) this is served with fries and pickles
4. Vegetable biryani super flavorsome
5. The potato and vegetable samosas are to die for
6. Chicken pane sandwich (international menu)
7. Chicken and beef fajita sandwich is also really good (international menu)
8. All their soups are heart warming
9. Abanoub’s fruit salad and smoothies are very refreshing and made with love

All the staff are hard workers and friendly. They are very welcoming too.

The place is very diverse with indoor Indian seatings and outdoor seating with beautiful scenery and it is a cosy place.

Given that Indian cuisine is an expensive one, the prices are more than reasonable !

Terrible terrible experience. Apart from the dusty flatware sitting on tables, dirty stained white shirts of service staff! One staff member not only did he bring a dirty red towel from the kitchen to take care of the dusty flatware and after our objection cleared them and brought us fresh ones. But came out to tell us they have run out of cheese naan with long nailed fingers that were soaked in Oil!!! We should have taken our cue and left then...

Now the food was terrible. Portions were fine but tasteless if not bad. You had to fish for lentils amidst the sauce, the murgh was small dry tasteless cubes, and more peas than aubergine in another veggie dish. Food was really bad. The bread (naan) was stale and hard, probably kept over night and reheated...

Ordered the food for delivery at 5pm with a delivery slot between 7 and 8 pm. They called me at 8pm to say 1 dish unavailable but it would be there in 30 minutes. When asked why it was not delivered at the slot booked, they said my address was to far away in New Cairo. Why offer that delivery slot? By 9'10pm food still not delivered, so I called, and no answer, so sent a WhatsApp message saying to cancel. I received a call immediately with all sorts of excuses and lies. The man was very rude and would not let me, the customer talk. DO NOT USE. UNRELIABLE AND TERRIBLE SERVICE OPERATED...
