Disappointing Experience at Noble House – Hilton Hotel
Booked for 20 guests on Saturday, June 21st for a birthday. Paid a deposit. Upon arrival, we were shocked to find the group split between two teppanyaki tables far apart. We asked to sit together, one staff member was rude and unhelpful, but a manager eventually assisted (we even moved the tables ourselves).
Food was great. Hospitality was not.
More friends joined, and again we asked to add tables. The same staff member became aggressive, saying the restaurant was “fully booked” and that the tables were “too heavy.” This was at 10:30 PM ..the place wasn’t even full.
We had the teppanyaki set menu. After the main, I asked for the fried banana dessert. The waiter said the kitchen was “too busy” yet there were only three tables in the restaurant, two of them teppanyaki (where the dessert is part of the set). I asked how that made sense, he had no answer. Eventually, he brought the dessert, but the interaction was totally unnecessary and inhospitable.
A beautiful dinner ruined by poor service and attitude. For a venue in a 5-star hotel, this...
Read moreHighly priced for the food quality if you are ordering a la carte. For the fixed teppanyaki menu the cook was good and the meat was good too. I have ordered chinese food specifically Prawns Kung Pao which was extremely oily. And the veggies was all under cooked. The kung pao and noodles were so oily that I couldnt use chopsticks as they slip.
For 2 appetizers, 1 main course, 1 veggie noodles and 3 main dish fixed teppanyaki menu we paid 5k+egp
In the fixed menu there is dessert that we chose. After we finished eating by 15 mins we called the waiter to ask about the dessert He came back after 10 mins saying that it needs 15 more mins!!! He was leaning towards changing out mind to fruit salad. This part was very disappointing for such an expensive restaurant. Since its a fixed menu and we already chose the dessert when we first ordered I expect it ready within 10 mins after dinner. Nice experience....
Read moreIf I could give this place 10 stars I would. We came for dinner as a family and chose some items from the menu as well as some a la carte tepanyaki items. The hot and sour soup was incredible - to be honest all the food was amazing. Manager KHALED welcomed us so kindly and made sure his staff catered to our every wish. There was one more staff member whose name began "Abu" - he was also so so good!! They really spoiled us!! Mohammed did our tepanyaki for us and he also was such a lovely guy and looked after us and catered our meal to our taste buds. I wish we could have eaten here one more time, best tepanyaki in Cairo and best best best staff and team in Cairo. Thank you all so much for looking after us!! We look forward to coming back...
