Not Terrible, But Definitely Not Great

I recently stopped by Willy’s Burger after hearing a lot of mixed reviews, and I gotta say—I walked away kinda disappointed. The place itself looks cool and has a nice vibe, but that’s where the good stuff ends. I ordered a classic cheeseburger and some fries, and honestly, it was just… mid. The burger was a bit dry, under-seasoned, and nothing about it really stood out. I’ve had way better from food trucks, to be honest.

What really made things worse was the wait time. We waited close to 40 minutes for our food, and it wasn’t even during rush hour. There were only a few other people ahead of us, so I have no idea what the delay was about. The staff were polite and apologized, but still—waiting that long for a basic burger is kinda unacceptable.

I get that every place has off days, and maybe this was one of them, but for the price and the hype, I expected better. It’s not the worst meal I’ve ever had, but it also didn’t leave me wanting to come back anytime soon. Best of all are the jalapeño poppers I don't know how it took so long to find those mouth watering treats, again all potions are generous so if its your first time dont over order (try) not once were we able to finish our meals and they taste amazing the next day for lunch/ dinner and breakfast if you are nursing a hangover. The good: Excellent taste. Generous amounts of sauces. The pastry on the nacho sandwiches is amazing.

The bad: Taste is inconsistent. You don't get the best product every time. This is also true for their store-brand cola. It's generally overpriced. This is particularly true for their "mega" sandwich. As of 2024, it's almost 300LE. It's overly spicy even though you don't have a say in the matter.

The ugly: Without fail, you'll always wait a very long time for you order.
