1897 The Bar & Cigar Lounge — Restaurant in New Cairo City

Greetings from the UK. This is a small bar lounge which allows to smoke gentlemen while they are enjoying their accompanies. The position of the scene is fine and there are sufficient tables considering the utilisation probability although it look small in the first place. There are open tables for larger groups and also more private cubical like seatings available. If you ever decide to stay in the Royal Maxim Kempinski in Cairo, make sure you spend sometime with a drink here and ask exclusively for Mohammed Mamdou who turns this place into a to a magnificent gentleman’s lounge by his outstanding personality and welcoming behaviour. Mr. Philippe H. Charraudeau must be proud that he has such team mates like Mohammed. His hospitality standard is far more beyond than the expectation. No matter how you design a place, it is only regarded as “my place to cool down” only if people like Mohammed who adds value and sincerity in by heart...

I had the chance to visit the 1897 The Bar & Cigar Lounge and honestly I was amazed, the service was great the staff were wonderful and met great people and had great conversations, if you’re ever in town and would like to go for a cigar this lounge is the one. Mr. Mohamad Mamdouh had a great knowledge about the cigars answered all my question and gave me an amazing service!
