Straight Kitchen — Restaurant in New Cairo City

We ate at Straight Kitchen almost every morning & evening during our stay in Dusit Thani Lakeview Cairo. We are used to eating in biggest hotels in the world and greatest restaurants, and we were fully satisfied by food offered at Straight Kitchen ! We enjoyed being advised by chefs Sameh & Ahmed who always took time to explain us each meal and give their recommendations that was everytime a success ! Service was perfect, kind, professional and we would like to thank especially Ahmed (the tallest one from service), Kareem, Mostafa and their manager who was always there to care about us. Where do I begin? Excellent staff with exceptional service. They were extremely friendly, professional, and helpful.

The food was exquisite. Top notch quality and taste. Everything was made to perfection. When certain items were not to my specific taste, the chefs made a plate just for me. Also, the variety was astounding. From seafood to sushi to steaks. It truly felt like a buffet.

We stayed at Dusit for 5 nights. We had breakfast there every day. Food quality is average. You would expect much more from a 5 star resort that charges a premium rate per night.
