Gad Restaurants — Restaurant in Red Sea

The menu is extensive from traditional Egyptian food to pizza. I've visited Gad a number of times and for the most part, it's decent. On a few instances I have found the fuul a bit oily, but I can highly recommend the baba gahnoush; it's the best I've had in Egypt. I would stay away from the shawarmas made with fino bread, I suggest ordering shawarma with Syrian bread instead. I've only tried the traditional food, so I can't suggest any Western styled food. We went to on the way to bus station and we were in a hurry. Got lentil soup(2x) , foul(1x), mixed grill. Breakfast options and salads are in display which is good to see and choose they even allowed to have a bite from salad to choose. The quality of mix grill was only average. And it cost 600le. Had better ones for the same price before. But after all it is one of the few affordable and local food...

I gave this place a chance thinking it’s underrated but it’s not. The food taste isn’t compatible, we took chicken shish and that has many “small bones” or gristles in it making it disgusting to chew. The mix salad of cucumber/tomatoes was clearly windburned for days albeit babaganoush was quite decent
