Cafe du Louvre — Restaurant in Addis Ababa

I love this place. I've been going regularly for the past two years. The owner and the manager of the restaurant are really amazing people. The food is generally good, often amazing yet sometimes can be surprisingly disappointing. The ambiance of the place is fantastic and unique, nothing like it in all of addis. It's definitely a go-to spit for anyone who loves france. |They have fun events, for example the Ciné Club every Wednesday for lovers of historic cinema(dinner and movie!). |It's not a place where you will have the best meal you ever had in your life but it all comes together in away that is remarkable and delightful. |P.S. Very disappointing and I think this will be the last time we will be dining here.

We had a bad experience a few weeks ago but wanted to give them the benefit of doubt again.

The food ie roast chicken for me was burnt with test less grave and vegetables.

Waiting staff need a lot of training as they were a bit out of their depth on Saturday evening as the Restsurant was full with a group of very rowdy women who really spoilt the experience for other guests but we could see the waiting staff didn’t know what to do.

We understand it is a favourite restaurant for quite a few locals and expats but perhaps it just needs a check now and again to Msid sure standards are kept.

If you are looking for horrendous service (snaillike and rude waiters, spoiled food that makes you throw up a little in your mouth, order mistakes, and orders that just don't show up!), this is definitely the place to go to! Not to mention the lack of parking, the shanty neighbourhood, and the horrible architecture!  ||After all that, we had to tell our complaints to the manager and to our utter surprise, he told us to get the f* out because there were many other restaurants in the city. (Doubting his mental stability while writing this)||My friends and I are appalled, and have the mind to go elsewhere...
