Being gluten sensitive is not too hard here in Addis Ababa. Much of the food is gluten free. Don’t know about celiac levels of sensitivity and cross contamination. But Hilary, a member of the family run restaurant, knew a lot and was able to give the rundown on all their dishes. She spoke perfect English and was a very attentive host. I ate here two days in a row to try some more of their delicious food. If you are visiting Addis, this is a great value and comfortable place to go. I am veggie so only ate fasting food, which was incredibly tasty, fresh, great value and also very creative - there were some fasting dishes that I'd never seen before. All the staff were a delight. We placed our order, but after 30 minutes, others started arriving and were served before us, apparently because they had preordered by phone. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't inform us of this system, leaving us waiting unnecessarily.
