Annual holidays in Ethiopia have become my tradition. Wisdom Ethiopia prepared a proprietary itinerary for me including caves with rock paintings, Babile Elephant Sanctuary, ancient cities such as Harlaa and Koromi, Mount Kundudo and Doho Lodge hot springs. This time it was not a trip but an expedition. It wasn't easy to get to some places, but Wisdom Ethiopia arranged everything perfectly, 4x4 jeep transport, the best quality hotels, excellent food. After 3 months I returned to Ethiopia. My dream was to see Dallol volcano and climb Abuna Yemata Goh (more then 2500 m). I chose Wisdom Ethiopia Tours again. It was my best choice. More over that both the trip to Dallol and climbing the church are not ordinary, easy tourist places. Wisdom Ethiopia took care of my safety throughout the whole journey. There was not even one situation that I was afraid. My trip lasted 2 weeks. I was on Dallol, Erta Ale, Danlaki Depression. In the Geralta Mountains I had trekking around unusual churches, including Abuna Yemata Goh, Daniel and Maryam Korkor. I visited a lot of other great places.

Service, hotels and transport were very well organized at the best level. The owner - Minyahl knows English, French and German very well and he knows a lot about his country. He is the best tour operator and also a great manager and guide.

Rundreise Äthiopien

Ich war dieses Jahr 2020 im Januar/Februar für 3 Wochen mit Minyahl Fenta in einer größeren Reisegruppe unterwegs. Unsere Rundreise quer durch ganz Äthiopien war wirklich wunderschön. Von Addis Abeba aus ging es über Gondar anlässlich des Timket Festivals über Lalibela, Axum, Simienberge, Dessie und viele weitere schöne Orte. Die ursprüngliche Organisation der Reise durch World Insight beherbergte leider so einige Probleme, aber Minyahl regelte immer sofort alles. Unser Urlaub war ein voller Erfolg und es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Ansonsten kann ich dazu nur sagen, dass wir hätten gleich direkt bei Minyahl bzw Wisdom Ethiopia Tours buchen sollen ohne Umwege über andere Agenturen. Dann wären uns diese Probleme auf jeden Fall durchweg erspart geblieben. So hat er es aber geschafft, die schlechte Organisation von World Insight und dadurch entstandene Probleme umstandslos zu regeln und es war einfach eine sehr schöne Reise, an die ich mich auch in 20 Jahren noch gerne erinnern werde.

So kommt es auch, dass die nächste Reise nach Äthiopien mit Freunden schon in den Startlöchern steht bzw in Planung ist und wir uns alle schon sehr darauf freuen.

We spent a week traveling in Omo Valley and visiting different Omo People with our daughter, age 8 (maybe we were the very first to come there with a kid😁) Wisdom Ethiopia Tours were all the way long better than best. Everything was on the highest level. Accommodation, meal, transporting - all safe and excellent and, last but not least -deep knowledge, answering every question, very interesting...
