Disappointing Experience – Overrated and Poor Service

I had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The service was absolutely horrible—staff seemed uninterested and inattentive, almost as if they were doing us a favor by taking our order. It was clear that they prioritize their usual customers, giving them faster service and better treatment while the rest of us were left waiting.

It was my first time to try "Ethiopian Raw Meats" in my life. According to my local assistant who knows which restaurant is the best to enjoy raw meat, this restaurant is the best and quality of food is guarantied. The restaurant was really crowded when I first come and I retry the other time, you know how popular the restaurant is. When I come again, I ordered 250g of raw meat and 250g of stir fried meat as minimum order starts from 500g. Taste of meat were great and you understand the feeling of lion. The best tibs I have had in Addis for sure. And the lightly toasted bread they bring with it (in addition to injera) is very good. The restaurant is not completely enclosed, so bring a sweater or a jacket with you. They have new serving dishes now that are fondue style with a candle underneath. We found this overcooked the meat - would recommend blowing out the candle once the meat is served...
