Is there an option to give zero stars?
Unfortunately, this is the only eating option in the airport. There are three installments of the same "restaurant", although I'm being generous by using that word.
In the first, I first mentioned that I only had ten euro on me. Upon asking how much it would be for a coke, ordering two, the "waitress" paused for a second and decided on "5 euro". No thanks.
In the next, the first thing I asked was the price of a coke. "2 euro." Amazing how fast a currency can deflate. I ordered a spaghetti Napolitano, one of the cheaper options on the menu. The waiter's response, again after a second's thought: "we don't have any Napolitano anymore. Everything else is available." Can someone explain how you make a tomato sauce and meat spaghetti without the ingredients for a Napolitano?
On to the third and last one. Squeezing in for a seat with two strangers at a small table, I managed to order my Napolitano. A plate of lukewarm spaghetti arrived. Oddly enough it was already cut and had some patches of molten cheese. Exactly the way I leave a spaghetti as a customer after having tried a few bites and not liking it. I tried getting up to leave, which almost failed since the waitress kept asking me to "please take a seat."
Which, obviously, I did not. And neither...
Read moreone of the worst restaurants in the world. Where do I start me and my mom was on a layover at bole airport in Ethiopia. While on layover we decided to stop by London cafe which is the only restaurant in the whole airport with three locations side by side. We sat down looked at the menu and decided on the fried rice and chicken which was 15usd displayed on the menu, we still decided to order a plate with those outrageous price because we were hungry. Once the food came I took the spoon of rice and chicken into my mouth and immediately notice the rice wasn’t cooked and raw and the chicken smelled like old socks. I immediately spit out the food and waved the waiter, she came to us and insisted the food was fresh and good. She then said she can re cook the rice for us. We refused and wanted to leave the restaurant due to the foul tasting and uncooked food. While leaving two waiters stopped us and demanded they re cook the rice for us or we have to pay the 15usd for the rice and chicken we never eaten. I was shocked and proceed out the restaurant seeing that this wasn’t a restaurant and more like a money grab. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST, YOU WILL BE VERY...
Read moreWorst experience ever. I have never seen such an unorganized place in my life before. At first, it looked super professional. We were taken care of to get a very nice table, made space for our luggage, etc. But then, we ordered fresh orange juice and had to ask 3 times, and wait for it half an hour. The bartenders were chatting and not doing anything, and the rest of the employees were simply chaotic. They try to ask you if you need anything, then someone else appears, and they just ignore you and forget about you while you are in the middle of telling them what you need. In the end I had to ask again 3 times for the bill, go to the bar and wait for 10 minutes until they calculate how much it costs one cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange and a piece of cake which...
