Asian Bay — Restaurant in Addis Ababa

I stumbled upon an Asian-style restaurant inside the Skylight hotel, and what surprised me the most was how affordable it was for a seafood buffet, only 1350 Birr per person. The food was delicious, and the seafood was reasonably fresh. Of course, it's not freshly caught from the sea, but for Ethiopia, I was quite satisfied. It felt like getting a great deal. The restaurant had a spacious layout with private VIP rooms, simple yet harmonious decor. The service was friendly, although a bit clumsy; they accidentally bumped into me while serving, but I didn't mind as they were still very attentive. Next time, if I'm unsure of where to eat, I'll come here because they have quite a variety of dishes that suit...

This was by far one of the worst dining experiences we've had. The food was extremely poor in quality and did not resemble authentic Chinese cuisine in any way. We even overheard another table expressing their dissatisfaction and requesting a replacement meal, which unfortunately turned out to be just as disappointing.

To make matters worse, everyone in our group felt unwell this morning which raises serious concerns about the food’s safety and hygiene.
