The worst service we ever got in a restaurant, if zero star was available I would’ve selected that. We shared we had a milestone birthday and to make it special. They did the opposite and ruined our experience completely. It took more than 45 mins to get our drinks and for the owner to take our order even though we were the 1st guests in the restaurant. They only had 1 waitress for the whole restaurant whose main duty it felt like was to come and share with us what they did not have available Vs providing any meaningful service. We booked for 8 and we had kids that were starving but they refused to take our order until a couple of our guests who were running late arrived. They finally agreed and took our orders but still held our food until the others arrived and served everything together while other tables were getting their food. It was extremely hard to get any service and we had to go in the back to look for her a few times. The place was also crowded and loud, with no light music to provide a nicer ambience. Their focus was sitting new foreigner guests and tending to them instead of taking care of those of us that were seated and needed service. It was very obvious they had no respect for their Ethiopian customers, extremely rude. When we shared feedback with the owner, his response was very disappointing “ in this business it is hard to please everyone” wow! Such poor customer service, totally missing the basics of how to treat customers in his overpriced restaurant, so disappointing, would not recommend if you are looking for...
Read moreI have come across to check out this fancy Italian restaurant which serves very authentic dishes, the place has got an extremely old villa which is very classic and attractive for me and I went there at night for dinner and most of the customers are foreigners, especially US embassy workers. When it comes to the food it’s worth trying their food if you are a fan of Italian foods and also don't forget to try their tiramisu probably one of the best in this city. Last but not least, the place is very suitable for a night date with your loved one with dim light and a candle on each table will create an unforgettable experience.
Notice:- the restaurant has only got one waiter who can serve you drinks only and to order food you need to get the head chef who gives a brief explanation for each food on the menu and you need...
Read moreWe visited on the last day of our work trip and this was one of my favourite meals of the week. Italian food is based on the principles of doing the basics well, and that was certainly reflected in the quality of the food at Mama Mia. I had the bruschetta for starter and home-made orecchiette with tomato, ricotta and the perfect amount of spice. Both were delicious. Service is friendly and they are the only restaurant we visited that week which accepted credit card (a big bonus when...
