During my visit to Lalibela, I had the pleasure of dining at a local restaurant, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with traditional Ethiopian decor that truly captured the spirit of the region.
The food was outstanding! I tried injera with doro wat and tibs, and every dish was bursting with authentic flavors. The spices and aromas were perfectly balanced, making each bite a delightful experience.
The service was exceptional – friendly, attentive, and always with a smile. The staff took the time to explain the dishes and make recommendations, which added a personal touch to the meal.

The place is good, clean and traditional though one of the two food was not tasty.
There were more than 30 people inside the main hall including us on different table (everyone seems European descent except on our table - me and my friend).
Everyone on every table has been given a slice of pineapple after the end of their meal as a dessert. We said it was a great addition, and we expected we will be treated the same when we are done with our food. To our disappointment nothing has come for us, and we have leaved gracefully. We knew they didnt pay for it, as we have heard the surprise from the next table. We were hit by the heat of Racism in our country.
