I've been wanting to eat at Saravana Bhavan next to the Sri Siva Subrimaniya temple, in Nadi since I arrived in Fiji a week ago. If I ate here, I will have eaten at a Saravana Bhavan in three different countries (New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji) and their food is bound to be delicious.

They are open for breakfast and lunch (7:30am to 3pm) and then also do catering and events.

They offer a variety of (mainly) South Indian dishes like dosa, thali, pongal, medhu vada, uttappam, pulao, raitha, kudamilagia, puri, upma, sambar, rasam, payasam, chutney, sambar, tea, coffee and seasonal fruit juices.

This restaurant is completely different to, with a completely different menu than the other two Savana Bhavans I have been to. If not for the name, I would have thought it was just another restaurant.

You order and pay at the counter, then someone brings the food. This can hold up the queue when there are several people in the party, looking through a very long, almost 10 page menu.

I had the thali and for FJ$12.50 it is a very reasonable price. The food came quickly, which I appreciate because I was on my way to the aiport to catch my international flight back home.

Unfortunately the food was ice cold. The taste was good, but it was very unappetising because of how cold it was. I don't think I'll stop in again with my next...

Saravana Bhavan is one of my go-to places for delicious and authentic pure vegetarian food. Everything here is made fresh, served with love, and truly worth the cost.

I usually order bara and bhajiya for snacks, they’re always crispy, tasty, and perfectly prepared. For meals, I enjoy their dosa (whether plain or masala), and when available, their veg palau and thaali options are fantastic. The thaali usually comes with roti or rice, 2 to 3 curries, and a variety of chutneys which are all full of flavor and freshness.

And of course, I can’t forget to mention their masala tea, it’s absolutely amazing and the perfect way to end a meal.

Overall, Saravana Bhavan offers great food, generous portions, and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys wholesome vegetarian dishes...

Very laudable effort by the Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple Trust. I found the restaurant well maintained and the quality of food was commendable.

I ate here for the first time and found the quality of food and taste at par or better than most competitors operating commercially in Fiji Islands. We had ordered Mysore Masala Dosa, Medu Vada's and Dahi Vada's along with tea.

Found the food well prepared, tasty and wholesome (though the serve size of Sambhar could have better). The Dosa itself was good but with more practice - the cooks will be able to dish out crispier Dosa's.

No complaints for the Medu Vada's - they were made perfectly. The Dahi Vada was a let down (as the were hard).

The chutney's served to us that day were a touch salty... something...

Seriously good restaurant- this indian restaurant is located next to the temple (you don’t need to stick to the dress code required in the temple) and it has a large safe carpark. The food is very cheap and delicious, all vegetarian, spicy but not too hot. The atmosphere is very nice, friendly and colourful and most of all clean! If you have been in numerous restaurants in Nadi you may understand that there are quite big differences in that respect. They also serve desserts. We went to eat with a family of four and went for the menu options - each menu cost between $8-12 and contained a variety of yummy items such as dhal, several curries, roti bread, chutneys, pappadam etc. also lots of nice $1 items as add on. I can highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!
