The Curry House — Restaurant in Viti Levu

Food is ok, but most of the local restaurants only charge 7-10$ is the average price of local food.(2023)

we went on the Sunday before 12 pm, but nothing is left( no salad, no breakfast) so we have ordered the super expensive curry and vakalolo, it’s cost us almost 70$ with two drink! my Vakalolo doesn’t come with cassava only rice, but no one mentioned it before I order, (even owner highly recommend me but do not said it!) my friend order cheaper curry but they gave us different curry and charge us more money$$$$(also didn’t mention before change our order, which make us feel cheated)

It’s a tourism price restaurant but the environment doesn’t meet...

My boyfriend and I just had lunch there. The people working there were nice and friendly at first. Then we found a cockroach in my boyfriend’s food (as seen in the photo). We told one of the workers and he proceeded to tell us that it was just a leaf that they use to cook with. We had already checked the “leaf” and it was definitely a cockroach. We took this picture just in case. We decided to just pay and leave as to not create a scene. While we were paying, they kept insisting it was a leaf. I would not recommend it here. Though the place was not tidy enough , we hoped the food might be good . Unfortunately the dishes were not like we expected , it was not tasty, the chicken curry was plain without any taste, the chicken biriyani had small sharp bones in it. The dinning table was not near, the toilet didn’t had toilet paper not neat. Also we ordered masala tea but they made tea with tea bag, hot water and some sugar and milk , was plain white in colour . They charged 51.20 $ and we left 3/4 of the food in the plate . Had a very terrible and rough experience .This was the worst...
