The Sundowner is the best of the resort restaurants that I have eaten at in Fiji. The focus is on steaks - absolute top quality Tasmanian beef - and they are fantastic. It took me about 5 visits to finally order something other than the Eye Fillet because I enjoy it so much, but they do have woodfired pizza and a range of other options such as slow cooked beef cheeks (delicious!) pork ribs, grilled tuna and a rather tasty vegetarian risotto. The staff are friendly and fantastic, and the dishes are not only excellent but consistently excellent, which can be an issue in Fiji. And you can sit, relax and watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Highly recommended....

Children's menu is the same for lunch and dinner and across all outlets at the resort so don't expect too much. Everything is served with chips, but you can ask for them to change it to veggies and they will accommodate you.
Service is poor, very slow and "Fiji time"...

It took 30 minutes to get water and 1 hour to get a beer after asking multiple staff. Wasn't just us as the next table was asking for their missing drinks. Food arrived 1.5 hours later. Very smoky inside from the steaks being cooked. They should've opened the windows to get that beautiful ocean breeze. The best location in the resort overlooks the water...
