This small Japanese restaurant offers a cozy, bar-like atmosphere with dim lighting and dark ceilings that really set the mood. It's not a fancy spot, but that's part of its charm. I like Japanese food, so I eat it often. So I visited TAKA with anticipation. I ordered udon first. I was planning to eat extra maki if the udon was delicious. In conclusion, I only ate udon. It's hard to evaluate the overall taste of the restaurant because I didn't eat donburi, maki, and sushi, but at least the udon was not satisfactory. As tourists we found this lovely Japanese eatery, didn't really have a high expectations, but luckily we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered tuna sashimi (HUGE!), bento box with tuna, gyu don and simple green salad (with Japanese sesame dressing), plus a bottle of white wine and Asagi.
