Pizzala — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I ordered the funghi pizza - it should have been called cheese on cheese pizza. It was mostly just literally nothing but cheese, and the oil on top didn't help. I haven't eaten anything so greasy ever. Also, the cheese was either not melted properly, or then it had already cooled, as from the first bite it wasn't lovely and melty but hard and fatty. Ricotta on top was like somekind of greasy tastless quark/curd. I will never come back and for sure I lost my appetite for all pizzas for a while as well (shame, it being perhaps my favourite food..). One star for the nice oven they had, gave good colour on the crust, and also for the friendly girl...

Best Neapolitan style pizza in Helsinki that I have eaten, especially the flavor of the dough. Perfect texture, beautifully arranged filling and enough of them, not too little not too much. Friendly and knowledgeable service and cozy atmosphere. Woodfire oven brings extra cozyness in this otherwise rainy and gloomy weather. Price of pizza is correct for the authentic hand made pizza with top quality ingredients. Highly recommended, not too crowded during the week so perfect for a relaxed dinner...

The quality has declined, the staff gotten lazier.

When this restaurant opened the service was better, they used actual plates and cutlery. Now the pizza's are much smaller, served in a cardboard box and cutlery is wooden sporks that just drive you crazy. Once you request decent cutlery, the response might be that they are out of them or they are in wash.

On the upside, the pizza is still good, but for the price point...
