My neighborhood wooden district. It is nice to go and sit on the top of stone/rock nearby and watch sunset over the roofs. You can walk around and see that all houses are individually designed. Everything from the world the house is made to the shape of the window gives this special vibe to the district. There are small gardens nearby and in the spring, Puu-Vallila is one of the centers of blossom. The district itself reminds me Tallinn or Porvoo wooden neighborhood. It is amazing that the city kept this unique buildings even though the people in the city didn't like it originally. Worse visiting when the weather is sunny.

Beauty Historical buildings and a really quiet community, best for an afternoon stroll. In autumn the golden leaves cover the backyards and the view is really unforgettable.

Shame there aren't any cafes open or a bit more to see, yes it was nice to see the old wooden buildings but that was it, a 10 min walk and I was done.

Lovely place for a walk and to explore wooden architecture of Helsinki. There is a small coffee place and a couple of restaurants in the neighborhood.

I was disappointed that many buildings are empty and only a couple are being repaired. Still, it’s an interesting place and well worth a visit.
