Social Burgerjoint — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

This place is one of my go to burger places. It has everything I'm looking for in a burger from a culinary point of view. The meat has a really rich taste and the patty is thick enough to have it medium in the middle. If the meat wasn't fresh, there would be no way to sell it medium. I like the bread too, it has a slight sweet taste and is slightly spongy. Generally I think the burgers are well balanced between the ingredients. Depending on your selection some more some less. The selection of burger is generous, but not too distracting. Changing new variations keep it interesting. The fries are crunchy and topped with parmesan. Homemade ketchup is included. It's very tomatoie and rich. Every other sauce costs extra. In my opinion there should be one free sauce of choice included in a portion of fries. 1,50 for extra sauce that isn't even enough for a portion is too much. If you need to ask extra money for sauces, then the customer should at least get as much sauce as he needs for his fries.

The staff could give a little bit more of a personal note to the service while ordering. Just try to be a bit more easy going and not just rattling down your catalogue of questions. It will be more fun for you and the customer.

The design of the restaurant is pretty simple and I would wish for something more special. I prefer this small branch over the one in city center. Somehow the attention to detail isn't the same. If we look back to their first tiny restaurant in Kallio, that was the best. But even they expended the business, they still kept most of their quality. Often businesses lose quality if they get bigger with more branches and trying to...

We went to Socal Burger Joint with great hopes, but they were smashed, pun intended. We do understand that the restaurant staff was really busy and burdened on early Friday night with incredible amounts of delivery orders coming in. However, we were not told that for the in-house customers the wait would be something like 45 minutes. Several customers who ordered after us got their orders before us, and another poor young lady in a party of three who ordered before us didn't yet get hers when we were already leaving, and on it goes with families with small kids and stuff. The shift manager was courteous enough to giving us refund with the burgers, but she didn't initially communicate with us that due to a cook's mistake our burgers were delayed. So, we had a infuriating sense of watching a chaos that the restaurant wasn't able to handle nor communicate truthfully to the customers what to expect. ... We just ate our burgers arriving at home and had a profound sense that these burgers were not that good either for the price (that we did get refunded for). We think about getting out smash burgers somewhere else in the future. Unfortunately, this restaurant was well over their heads tonight and might have done much better on a quieter time of the week. For that and the refund I give merciful...

First review on the Keto burger was 3 years ago (4/5), now gotta update that after ordering quite many smash burgers through Wolt that they are 5/5+. The Brooklyn smash was so good yesterday that I just had to have it again today :D

The chicken bites are perhaps made with a new reciepe, as they look and taste different (from 4/5 to 5/5).

Only complaint is that I called there if the seasonal burger has cheese in it (as looked like there would be in the picture, but cheese was not mentioned in the list of incredients) - the girl answering the phone (who somehow seemed to be slightly confused for me calling) said there would be cheese, but when the burger came there was no cheese and also no tomato (that was mentioned in the list). Maybe the incredients for seasonals are hard to remember?
