Ravintola Freja — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

We went to restaurant Freja for Father's Day brunch (not a best day if you wanted to eat in peace). Freja's service was friendly and with a little queuing we got our reserved table next to the window. Since everyone came to the brunch at the same time, we also had to queue at the buffet. The food itself was tasty, but the selection of main courses was quite small and unfortunately in many cases the food had dried out under the heat lamps. The dessert selection was plentiful. All in all, we didn't think the brunch was worth its high price, even though the food itself was ok. Probably a visit on a less crowded day...

Quite disgraceful brunch with inconsistent food and bad service. No one came to ask for drink orders even though we were told so when given a table, water was brought to the table 45 min late after we had mostly eaten. When leaving, the excuse was that the restaurant is busy, even though it wasn't full. As for food, warm mains were pretty good, colds were okay but with a weird selection of mostly meats and one salad. Pastries were terrible, worse than storebought frozen quality. Would not go again for brunch, maybe á la...
