Disappointed and feel cheated. We opted to try pizzas from a special menu where even a Michelin star chef was marketed as creating some of the pizzas on the menu. What we received was dry, unappealing and tasteless pizzas with expensive price. I asked for a pizza with river crab tails. The pizza looked like it had been sitting half a day under a heating lamp and become a dry husk. The "river crab" tails looked like your standard shrimp from a freezer, just spread out on the pizza. When calling the waiter to ask about the quality of the food, all we received was apologies for us not liking the product and a cold offering to buy new pizzas while paying the pizzas we had not even touched. My partner was told that we may pay half of that pizza and order a new one. Disappointed by the service and quality of food, we decided to eat the pizzas that we had been given, because we were not going to be spending any more money on this place. Both pizzas tasted like cardboard with sauce on them and my partners sauce was cold. Never again in this place. I'm actually shocked to see such high reviews for this place. Maybe people have not tried the "special" menu and the regular pizzas are a lot better and prize / quality ratio better. This place also has the audacity to market themselves as a socially responsible place because they work with the Finnish government agency TE-services, that provide cheap government subsidized labor to companies, while the employee receives half of the pay they would receive if working hired directly by the restaurant. In effect a form of modern...

Size does not matter, I know... but when you also start to discount your toppings? Bad direction. Looks like customers have already started to vote with their feet... Wonder why your tables are not filled like before? No. Its not because of recession or people not willing to spend money in restaurants. Its because you have lowered your earlier high standards to what they are today. Not high. Now people prefer to spend their money where they receive value for their money. Raising price and lowering quality does not work. I feel sorry for you being a regular for almost 30 years starting from Hanko.

Read moreUnfortunately not a good experience :( The reason is: 1- Classic pizza is not known for the best pizza in the town, but one would expect better than a random kebab place by the street. Unfortunately it is made out of cheap grocery items. The olives, the ham and every other ingredient clearly tastes cheap, while the pizza is priced higher. This is not honest business. 2- The staff are whimsical meaning that one time they treat you well, the other time not. Depends on their mood on that day apparently. Feels like the customer should be happy that they are even allowed in that high establishment. This certainly should not be the case. 3- we should give credit where it's due. The interior atmosphere is pleasant and nice. Although we mostly ordered take away, still would be nice to eat in the restaurant as long as the...
