Review concerns mostly the quality of pizza alone.

Let me start with some good things. I understand why this place gets good reviews as the price to volume is very good, as it was also for the pizza I ate. For many people the quality is probably also acceptable. For me, the quality was so subpar that I could not eat more than couple of slices.

I might have very picky taste, but I felt the quality lacked in so many ways that all I can give is 2 stars for the food: crust was not crisp, it is too thick and there was too much of it in general. It lacked both flavour and salt the sauce lacked flavor, any acidity and salt. Watery and bland

In addition the signature pizza had several issues sausage was in huge chunks, more like premade meatballs rather than quality sausage the mushrooms were cooked raw without any spices, causing liquid pooling on the pizza apparently the mozzarella was not drained.. with the mushrooms these bot resulted in pools of liquid dripping from the pizza

Overall, I felt the style of pizza was a weird combination of ”traditional finnish suburb” pizza and neapolitan influence (mainly so by using real cheeses like mozzarella and parmesan). This style might work for many and is probably good business, but it is far from good pizza in my experience. I personally enjoy to have either or - good quality neapolitan style or straightforward ”finnish”. I dont want to mention any competing names in reviews but this place is far below - quality wise - to even common pizza chains, let alone the very many good pizzerias we already have in Helsinki.

This place will probably be just fine even without any fixes - kalasatama brings a strong client base alone. It is just not a place worth visiting for the pizza from any place further,...

A small family operated Italian restaurant with a good selection of pasta dishes, pizzas, special pizzas (separate list) and other Italian meat and fish dishes. The prices range from 11 to 17 euros for the pizzas and around 12 euros for pasta and around 20 euros for the other main courses. Service is really friendly and the staff recommended three pizzas from the special pizza menu. We tried two of those. The Calabrese pizza with Italian salami, mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes and parmesan was good but not spectacular. It was a bit short on the sun dried tomatoes and the parmesan was probably just Grana padano cheese instead of real parmesan. The Presto Trattoria pizza with home made sausages was better with more taste. Still, if you look for a decent Italian restaurant in Helsinki, you can not go wrong with Presto Trattoria....

The atmosphere and the neighborhood of the restaurant is real nice. The salads were quite fresh and the tomato 🍅 soup was quite nice. However, the snails 🐌 were atrocious! They were literally the worst snails that I had tasted I had the pasta da silva which is oven cooked for the main dish. It was lovely. Definitely recommendable. I was torn between this and the lasagna which I am glad with my choice cause one of us got the lasagna and it was mediocre. My wife had this chicken pasta which she didn’t like at all, she was complaining about the chicken that it didn’t seem that fresh.
