Great food, great service, great atmosphere and great views. Stumbled across this gem searching for a halal restaurant in Helsinki and finding them highly recommended. The food was delicious, from the tandoori grill to the kashmiri chicken. The only constructive criticisms I can give are: add a bit more spice and masala to the rogan josh as it lacked depth in flavour; and make it clearer either in the menu or verbally what comes with extra naans as this would have stopped us from ordering an additional garlic naan (although very tasty). Overall the family run restaurant deserves high praise and definitely worth a visit if you are looking for some wholesome south asian cuisine.

Tandoori Villa is hands down the best restaurant I’ve ever been to! The food is absolutely incredible, and every dish feels like it’s made with love. My personal favorite is the halim paired with garlic naan—it’s a match made in heaven. The flavors are rich and comforting, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh and authentic. What truly sets this place apart is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owner treats us like family, and the entire team is so friendly and kind. Every visit feels like coming home. If you’re looking for amazing food and genuine hospitality, Tandoori Villa is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough!

We visited to tandoori villa for the father’s day buffet. Food was just average. Naan were very dry like papad. We saw some advertisements about Father’s Day special menu and honestly we were highly disappointed with the menu. There was nothing extraordinary in the menu. Taste was very much similar to every Indian and Nepali restaurant. As it is a Pakistani restaurant, we were looking for the authentic Pakistani taste which is very different than Indian food. I hope the chef works on it and try to find the difference in the authenticity of different cuisines.

Ordered take away and was promised delivery in 40 minutes. After an hour and 20 minutes I called to ask where my food was and asked if there would be Any compensation for waiting so long. No compensation, I was only told ”food is on the way” and got hung up. Called back angry and I was offered a 3€ discount for a 30€ order. I waited another 20 minutes before I had to leave for a meeting. Finally, an hour and 10min After the promised delivery (and almost 2hr After my order) I was called and told I should come home and pay for the delivery. I asked the delivery man to call his boss to ask if he could leave the order at the door and the call me back. Never got a call nor the food I ordered. The restaurant is nice and the person at desk (the lady - i never asked her name) seriously is the best. I'd hire her if i were to open a restaurant in Helsinki tbh). The only reason i didnt give 5 stars is because their buffet is more for people who kinda didn't live in Pakistan or India lol. The food options in buffet are quite blend.

So if you love spicy food, better order separately and tell them you need authentic spicy taste, instead of the one that's normal (mild down to suite the taste of finnish people).

The restaurant had decent decor when I entered. It took about 10 minutes to be ushered to our table. After being seated it took around 20-25 minutes to finally order food. It was dinner time, and there was only 2-3 tables being served.

The food after ordering took easily 45 minutes to close to an hour to finally reach the table. They didn't seem terribly busy, and the waitress rarely checked on us.

The quality of food: the food itself wasn't bad, but it wasn't really what we had ordered in terms of flavor.
