White Sand Boat — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

A really nice event venue boat that is located at the armpit of massive traffic intersection. This boat decks are mostly covered in soft white sand which it's getting its name. You can rent this place for groups of 10-40 people and other activities can be included. See their webpage for detailed information. It's in Finnish and english language.

This place is surprisingly big even if it first doesn't seem so. There's plenty of room for people to wander around even though it's a bit maze-like if you're looking for example the toilet.

Speaking of toilets - there are two toilets here. One at the stern of the boat (water closet) and one at the bow of the boat (dry toilet). Dry toilet might be a challenging experience for people who haven't been in one before.

At stern of the boat there's also a wood heated sauna (max 6 people) and wood heated tub (max 6 people). The sauna and tub were really nice indeed. Especially sauna is great here it has remarkably decorations and felt really enjoyable. Sauna facilities has a typical showering option.

Below deck there's a white sandy room for weather related issues so no need to stay outside if cats and dogs are pouring from the sky.

When you're renting this place for groups you can bring your own beverages. There's a gas grill for heating solid beverages and a freezer/fridge for keeping liquid/solid beverages cold.

Moving around here might be a bit challenging especially if you've consumed a hair too much liquid stimulative beverages. This is used to be a cargo/fishing boat for sea so there are hatches and narrow pathways and ladders everywhere. Anyone who have moving difficulties this really isn't a suitable place to be.

Overall I really liked this place and I strongly recommend this place. This is really nice place to be during warmer days. And also quite unique experience if you haven't been in a boat like these before. Lots by passers because this is located alongside one of the busiest roads...

OMG this place so UNDERRATED! My friends and I had a great time on this boat, if you ever come to visit Helsinki and want to experience Finnish lifestyle, you gotta try sauna on this boat, it felt great to just sweat it out and relax! The karaoke setup in the cabin was also amazing, such a good place to chill out with ur friends, we couldn’t ask for more! We were warmly invited to take a boat tour while walking on the nearby bridge. The captain was super nice, and he offered us free home-brewed beer. The beer has a strong but fantastic flavor, with a bit of bitterness added to enrich the texture, excellent taste!
