Wok King — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I was regular customer of here. Food used to be good and fresh but the quality of the food has significantly dropped. Worst customer service I have experienced. We used to dine here at least once in couple of months. But from now on not going there anymore. You can get better sushi and food option in same price nearby. Rude cashier lady, dirty corner space and wornout chairs. Very unprofessional customer service from the cahier lady. Last time when I dine with my family, we went there and had one hour left for closing we asked if it's ok to dine they said it's fine but when we were taking the food from the buffet section they took the most of the meat items and packed in boxes I suppose it was for themselves. At Least, they should inform us while we were paying. We went with 2 kids and have to pay for 18 months kid as well. Unprofessional service from the cashier lady with rude tone. Not visiting this...

Siitä on aikaa kun on viimeksi käyty. Wok King oli silloin high quality - high price paikka. Jossain vaiheessa meni vähän överikalliiksi eikä hinta ollut enää linjassa ruoan tasoon nähden. Varsinkin kun ravintolan käynnistäneet, ja hurjaan suosioon nostaneet kokit kouluttivat seuraajansa, ja lähtivät käynnistämään uutta ravintolaa johonkin. Seuraajat vain eivät koskaan yltäneet samaan tasoon. Hinnat jatkoivat kuitenkin kohoamistaan suosion hiipumiseen saakka.

En tiedä mitä on tapahtunut, onko ravintola vaihtanut omistajaa, esimiestä vai planeettaa, mutta nyt ei ole enää kumpaakaan. Ei kovaa hintaa eikä myöskään kovaa laatua. Hinta - laatu suhde on kuitenkin enempi kohdallaan nyt kuin huippuaikoina. Sillä vaikka ruoka onkin keskinkertaista niin se on "ihan ok" ja hinta on edullinen, n. 10e, mikä on halpa varsinkin kun ravintola on vuokralla näkyvällä (lue kalliilla) ostoskeskus paikalla. Huippuaikoina hinta lähenteli jo muistaakseni paria kymppiä, olikohan jopa liki 18e per nuppi viikonloppuisin ja iltaisin.

Vanhan raflan nosti suosioon varmasti hyvän sijainnin, uuden kauppakeskuksen, huippu kokkien ja ahkeran yrittäjäpariskunnan (vaimo tuli suurinpiirtein synnytystä seuraavana päivänä takaisin töihin) lisäksi se että oli tarjonnassa vähän oma tvisti. Sushit "alkuruokana" ei ollut vielä niin itsestäänselvyys ja lajitelma oli kaupungin monipuolisin ja laadukkain. Itse perusruoka ei ollut niinkään erikoista. Hieman tulisenpuoleista thai-pohjaista.

Nykyisin siitä puuttuu kunnianhimo, konsepti ja kehittämisen halu tai taito. Mutta niin puuttuu liki kymppi hinnastakin. Eli kyllä täällä syödä kannattaa, ihan ok perusruokaa ja...

I came here mainly for the sushi, but unfortunately there was not much sushi left when I arrived just after 18:00. Looking at the pictures they have more options than I could have tried. The price is €11,90 per adult and for that you get some sushi, salad, different types of meat and chicken dishes and coffee.and ice cream to finish with. The food wasn't bad, but I would like to have a bit more different options of sushi. The staff is friendly though and the place looked clean. Maybe I should get back...
