Hanki Baari Ruka — Restaurant in Koillismaa sub-region

Cosy atmosphere but really awful and overpriced food despite the appealing presentation(for some of them). We got the coconut wok, parsnip soup, artichoke pasta and mushroom risotto. All dishes were left uneaten despite us being very hungry. The risotto in particular was overly salty and slightly undercooked. The texture got overwhelming and nauseating quickly. The pasta was one of the most confused dishes I've ever seen. It was bland, the spagetti was soft, and sauce was thick and mushy and the artichokes were unseasoned, tough and fibrous. The food was deeply unpleasant and at 15€, the quality of the food was definitely not up to par. The most delicious thing we had was the lemon-infused water. A really cozy spot right by the slopes, tucked a bit deeper between shops and restaurants. Super friendly staff—the lady at the bar helped us pick out food and even made a special pasta dish for the kids, even though it wasn’t on the menu.
