Teerenpeli — Restaurant in Lahti sub-region

Olin viikon Lahdessa elokuussa, käymässä Suomessa pitkästä aikaa. Sain miellyttävän huoneistohotelliasunnon aivan Teerenpelin vierestä. Viime käyntini Teerenpelissä oli 90-luvun puolivälin tienoilla, nyt oli mukavaa nähdä, kuinka ravintola on laajentunut. Sovimme Teerenpelin Whisky Ambassadorin kanssa, että minun täytyy testata heidän omat viskit, laidasta laitaan. Viikon se kesti, kunnes viimeisenä iltana löytyi ehdoton suosikkini Teerenpelin omista viskeistä: My Star. Hyvä kakkonen on Savu.

Oli miellyttävä viikko, 7 päivää maistelemassa suomalaisia viskejä. Erityisen kiitoksen ansaitsevat ravintolapäällikkö itse ja Teerenpelin Whisky Ambassador. Miellyttäviä keskusteluja, hyvää viskiä, ystävällinen palvelu. Koko henkilökunta sai minut tuntemaan itseni varsin tervetulleeksi.

Suunnitelmat muuttuvat, kirjoitan tätä kotona Saksassa, mutta jo ylihuomenna olen taas Teerenpelissä Lahdessa! Aivan ehdoton suositus kaikille Lahdessa kävijöille.

Ainoa miinus tulee aukioloajoista, useampana päivännä odottelin jo oven takana kun ravintola avattiin. Kyllä aamuviskille pitäisi päästä jo aamupäivällä. 😉

I spent a week in Lahti in August, visiting Finland first time after a long time. I found a pleasant apartment hotel right next to Teerenpeli. My last visit to Teerenpeli was around the mid-90's, now it was nice to see how the restaurant has expanded. We agreed with Teerenpeli Whisky Ambassador that I had to test their own whiskies, everything in selection. It lasted a week until the last night I found my absolute favourite of Teerenpeli's own whiskies: My Star. A good second is Savu.

Had a pleasant week, 7 days tasting Finnish whiskeys. Special thanks are due to the restaurant manager herself and Teerenpeli's Whisky Ambassador. Pleasant conversations, good whiskey, friendly service. All the staff made me feel quite welcome.

My plans changed, I'm I am back in Finland, I'll be back as daily visitor at Teerenpeli! An absolute recommendation for all visitors to Lahti.

The only downside comes from the opening hours, for several days I have been waiting behind the door for the restaurant to open. You should be able to get your morning whiskey already...

A beautiful pub,very classy and elegant without the snobbery or aloofness of most others, lovely friendly helpful and welcoming staff and an excellent and huge selection of Whiskey's 😉 I highly recommend trying the Finnish prize winning blends you will be pleasantly surprised, a fine example of the student out achieving the teacher (us Irish being the teacher obviously because we shared our recipe with the world 💪💪🇨🇮) go on ya good...

This is a very cool, cozy, and beautiful pub. Lovely friendly, helpful, and welcoming staff. Good selections of house beers. For the whiskey lover, the house whiskeys are a must try item. Good music to dance to on Fridavs and Saturdavs. If you should visit Lahti, Teerenpeli is It's definitely a...
