Restaurant Bravas Hanko — Restaurant in Raseborg Sub-Region

Nice small restaurant. We went here in September, so the weather wasn't good enough to sit outside (in the evening).

The restaurant was quite full. We were told that a table comes available in 15 or 20 minutes. However, the owner of the restaurant placed an extra table for us, so we only had to wait 5 minutes.

We had to wait a bit for our food, while we were in quite a rush to make it to the train. I asked how long the line for the kitchen is, but I was promised it will be done in time to make it to the train. When it took long, I asked about it. Then the chef promised it's done in 10 minutes, but this was too long. Then we agreed on 5 minutes.

In the end we got our food in time. The food itself was very good. Also, we got some wine on the house for the long wait.

How things are done could be a bit more structured. Maybe 1 extra employee would help a lot. Besides that,...

A cosy Spaniard restaurant with a beautiful sunny terrasse and view to the sea - and that’s about it: the salad was overpriced and its quality leaves a lot to be desired. The chevre salad seasoned with strawberries and walnuts was basically a ready bag of mixed green salad thrown on a plate, no sauce/spices at all, served with 2 too-ripe-wet strawberries cut in half and a few very dry broccoli pieces. The chevre itself and walnuts were tasty. Cannot justify paying 20.50€ for such a dish. The halloumi fries and the sweet chili(?) sauce were decent. The staff was very friendly but lacked focus: forgot to bring water to the table and almost charged triple the price for the tapas. Would not recommend, I was so disappointed I would not even want to go back and try their other dishes. 2 stars for the location...

We waited more than an hour for 2 burgers ans some tapas. Tapas then arrived at the same time as the burgers. The table next to us had less luck. 3 out of 4 got their mains, the last only arrived after the other 3 had finished theirs. After that, their tapas and deserts arrived at the same time. Our tapas were tasty, the portions generally generous which I appreciate. The burgers were worse than the average finnish burger with everything drowned in mayonese and other sugary sauce. Our waiter was great and tried to save the show but even he could not undo the lack of skill...
