Restaurant HSF — Restaurant in Raseborg Sub-Region

We tried twice. First time the waiters were very arrogant. There were three waiters behind the desk and we waited quite a long time before one took eye contact and said we are busy right now, please wait a moment. This isnt' the way you treat customers.

Next day we decided to give a new try and have a lunch. Malewaiter was kind and smiled. In the menu there were pike and we were recommended to take it. Once the food came and we tasted it I was certain that it wasn't pike, I assumed cod or pollock. We asked if the waiter was sure about the fish and he was, but said he will check it from the kitchen. After a while he came back and said it is cod, sorry and left us finish the lunch. After that the waiter never came back, didn't ask if we would like to have dessert, coffee, tee or something. We paid before eating.

Normally everyone in your restaurant knows what you have in menu. This supposed to be a little better restaurant but it is not. You just can't say you have finnish fish and you give instead totally different norvegian fish without the customer knows about it. And if you make this kind of mistake you try to fix, but they didn't.

Never again....

This restaurant has the worst service. We went to the restaurant on an winter evening. I took my kid to the bathroom and my husband was taking my other kid from the car. In the meantime one lady came and talked to me so rudely. She said I need to ask before I enter and they have a private occasion, hence they are closed. I was not sure what she was talking about. I told her that I did not know that the restaurant is closed as you can see from the picture nowhere it was written closed or anything about not entering the restaurant. She was so rude and closed the door in front of me. Then my husband went to talk to them and the owner came and said F word several time in front of my kids and he said he does not care even if we are not happy with their behavior and said 'get out'.They said it is their private place and we cannot go even if their is no such notice. We are surprised at their obnoxious attitude and never recommend anyone to go their and spend money.I wonder how come a restaurant be a private place and we cannot open the door and whom do I ask even if there is none...

The food was surprisingly good. The HSF bowl with king prawns was very tasty and something I would recommend. The view is great. However, the service was a disappointment. Every restaurant should have a drink list with prices available for customers to look at. This one doesn’t. During the final weekend of the summer, all drinks were supposed to have a discount of 30%. On the first order, we didn’t get any discount and had to go back to the desk after making our own calculations to get some money back. On the second order, the receipt stated a discount of 20%, not 30%. On the third order the next day, we asked for the price of a cocktail before ordering, which was 8€. Once the cocktails were ready, the price was suddenly 11€, which we definitely would not pay. Then after some thinking, the price was again 8€. Frustration taken to the next level. How about some visibility...
