An exquisite fine dining restaurant at Seinäjoki, this restaurant offers a rustic but modern ambience. The Prosecco rosé was exquisite, and paired beautifully with the Atlantic salmon, with mashed potatoes and herb oil. Other dishes included a green risotto, and the meat of the day - Pig's neck with mashed potatoes. All of them tasted delicious, and were cooked perfectly. For dessert, the highlight was the trifle - mango and passion fruit mousse with chocolate crumble and a lemon sorbet. The tangy and slightly butter sorbet went so well with the smooth creamy, slightly sweet mousse and made for a delightful end to a delicious meal. Had a great time, had a sumptuous meal, and would want to visit again definitely. Highly recommended!

We ate 5 course seasonal menu here few days ago. The food was excellent and full of local Finnish ingridients like rhubarb, nettle, sander & seed bread. All the courses were just the right size (not too much & not too little). We also got excellent service! The waitress told us all the ingridients that were used before every course. The price (52e) was cheap in my opinion. You should totally try this if you are looking for a place to eat.

Tarjoilijatar oli sopivan puhelias, ammattitaitoinen (esim. saimme suosittelut ruokajuomien sopivuudesta eri aterioille). Alkupalan jätimme väliin, jotta jaksaisimme jälkiruokaa, samoin oli kivempaa vesi kielellä odotella lämmintä ateriaa. Ajankohdan vuoksi (10.12.) tilasimme lämpimät glögit terästettynä paikallisella Napue ginillä. Juomasta tuli kylmästä ulkoilmasta tulleelle pehmeän lämpöisen olon. 😉 Valkosipulihärkä ja haudutettu porsaan potka Villen tapaan olivat tosi maukkaita aterioita. Jälkimmäiseen otettiin lisäksi parmesaani ranskalaiset ja pippurikastike (omassa pikku kannussa). Kaikki olivat hyvää, erikseen ja yhdistelemällä aterioiden kanssa. Jälkiruokina annoksina suklaa-pähkinä kakkua ja Talriikin vanukas, johon vaihdoin kahvigeelin kinuskikastikkeeseen. Arvelin yleensä kahvilta maistuvan voimakkaalta. Kinuskikastike oli täyden kympin vaihto. Ehdottomasti suosittelen käymään Talriikissa. 👍

We ate 5 course seasonal menu here few days ago. The food was excellent and full of local Finnish ingridients like rhubarb, nettle, sander & seed bread. All the courses were just the right size (not too much & not too little). We also got excellent service! The waitress told us all the ingridients that were used before every course. The price (52e) was cheap in my opinion. You should totally try this if you are looking for a place to eat.
