Cafe & Bakery Mimosa — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

Having planned to visit this place since a long time I got a chance to stop by on a cold afternoon and was very pleased with the extremely friendly service from the owner. The coffee was top notch and so was the cake. Very quiet and spacious place with nice decor especially a character to the place. There's a shelf full of board games and books for customers to use. Please do yourself a favour and visit if you haven't yet.

From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a wonderful experience. The friendly staff made me feel truly welcome, enhancing the overall enjoyment of my time there.

Exploring the menu, I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse and delicious vegan options available. Each dish was crafted with care, showcasing the creativity and dedication to plant-based cuisine. Whether it was a flavorful salad, a hearty main course, or a delectable dessert, every bite was a testament to the café's commitment to quality and taste.

What stood out the most, however, was the genuine friendliness of the staff. Their enthusiasm about the vegan offerings and their willingness to assist with recommendations added a personal touch to the dining experience. Leaving the café, I felt not only satisfied by the scrumptious vegan fare but also uplifted by the positive and welcoming atmosphere created...

This is a very nice and cosy place if you’re looking for something sweet or a nice croissant/sandwich. I think everything (or almost everything) is vegan, soo it’s suitable for anyone. We tried the carrot cake and chocolate orange cake which were both absolutely delicious! The rest also looked very tempting, it was hard to choose :) It’s a 5-10 min walk from Tampere station, so it’s in the center. Also the cafe has a relaxing chill vibe. I would definitely recommend this place for vegans but also for non-vegans. Everyone will love...

Olipa tänään hämmentävä "asiakaspalvelukokemus". Olen ollut säännöllinen asiakas Mimosassa jo sen alkuajoista alkaen ja suositellut kavereillekin. Hienoa, että kotinurkilla on vegaaninen kahvila.

Istunut siis siellä kahvilla/aamiaisella/muuten maksavana asiakkaana kymmeniä kertoja. Kuluttanut satoja euroja.

Tänään tapasin siellä tuttuun tapaan ystäväni. En heti tilannut mitään, koska olin juuri juonut aamukahvin. Kaveri lähtikin melko pian kotiin ja jäin vielä hetkeksi jatkamaan kesken jäänyttä hommaa. Kahvila oli puolityhjä, joten en ajatellut sen olevan ongelma.

Työntekijä tuli kuitenkin kysymään tilaanko jotain ja kun en tilannut, sanoi melko tökerösti, että meillä on sellainen periaate, että pitää jotain ostaa. Ei sovi vain ostamatta istuskella.

Jäin varmaan suu auki ihmettelemään tilannetta. Olenko näin huono asiakas? Halutaanko minusta päästä eroon?

Hetkeä myöhemmin työntekijä palaa. Koitan ystävällisesti selittää tilannetta ja miltä aiempi töykeä kommentti minusta, vakioasiakkaasta, tuntui. Työntekijä puhuu uhkailusta (?) ja sanoo, että ei tämä ole mikään kirjasto.

Hetkessä saatiin romahdutettua vuosien mukava asiakaskokemus. Minkä takia? Periaatteen?

Hienoa, että on periaatteita. Valitettavasti asiakkaiden epäkohtelias kohtelu ei ole periaate, jota arvostan. Ei Mimosa niin hyvä kahvila ole (vaikka kahvi hyvää onkin), että sen takia sietäisin huonoa...
