Ravintola Coussicca — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

I'm conflicted with this review. One of the oldest restaurants in Tampere. They have strong points and still, they lack in so many little things. It's good idea to book a table, the restaurant is small. We wanted to sit in other table, because this was next to the kitchen and the sound's from the dishes been washed and waitresses walking behind you where really annoying. They didn't change our seating, when there was plenty of places free and the answer where really sarcastic. That's a -1⭐. Our own waiter was really pleasant, and I loved the entry soup. That was +1⭐. Sadly I asked my main course to be the mushroom soup, waiter said ok, but it was really small, not an main course any way, so I was hungry after eating. -1⭐. I ordered cappucino, that wasn't a cappuccino (more an latte in cappucino cup) and a chocolat cake and it was really dry. Whit out coffee, I would leave it aneaten. -1⭐. My brother had an streak, it was good and my mother the salmon what was excellent. My friend had an chicken salad, that was boring and ordinary. Lowering my review based on the lack of service at this establishment - How can you enjoy the food if the help is lacking and you can't even eat here? We recently came here again after a funeral, where the surviving spouse wanted to have a meal here with the support of family; as he came here with his now deceased wife for special occasions. The restaurant was empty (with 3 other parties in the entire restaurant), yet they didn't have space for 3 people... Don't waste your money on a restaurant that doesn't care to accomadate it's customers. Thank God we don't have uncaring places like this elsewhere... (plus, to be honest, there are tastier places to eat as well)

Ravintola joka ollut olemassa yli 50 vuotta tekee jotakin oikein. Itselläkin ensimmäinen kokemus jo 20 vuoden takaa, joten piti käydä muistelemassa miksi paikka on niin suosittu.

Kuten tähdistä huomaa, niin syy taitaa olla enemmänkin nostalgisuus ja mielikuvat, kuin jokin erityinen osa-alue. Puretaan osiksi.

Palvelu: nuoret tarjoilijat hoitivat tehtävänsä ihan ok, mutta sellainen huomioon ottaminen ja pysähtyminen asiakkaan kanssa tuntui ohuelta. Tavoite taisi ennemminkin olla kierrättää pöydät nopealla kierrolla, joka toimii kassan näkökulmasta, mutta itselle toimisi asiakaspalveluun keskittyminen.

Ruoka: Hyvää, mutta ei mitään tajuntaa räjäyttävää. Hinta hieman korkea ja vaikka ruokaa oli riittävästi, ei ihan pääse hinnan tasolle. Alkukeitto oli maukas, mutta chili otti "henkeen". Etanoiden sinihomejuusto oli palanut ja etanat pienikokoisia, mutta leipä hyvä (tosin perus leipä). Pääruuan osalta sisäfilenoisetti palat valittu hyvin ja olivat aidosti medium miinus kypsiä. Kala-annos oli maukas, mutta kovin öljyinen. Jälkiruuat toimivat, eikä suklaakakku ollut mikään tiiliskivi.

Tunnelma: remontin myötä (en osaa sanoa koska tehty) kadotettu osa tunnelmasta. Paikasta tullut kliininen ja muunneltavine looseineen nousee väistämättä mieleen ajatus tehokkuuden tavoittelusta, joka ymmärrettävää, mutta osittain sotii sitä nostalgista kellariravintolaa vastaan, jollaisena paikan varmaankin aina tulen muistamaan.

Kaikesta huolimatta, suosittelen käymään ja muodostamaan oman mielipiteen, sillä niin tulen minäkin jatkossa käymään vaimon kanssa menneitä...
