Ravinteli Bertha — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

Not a place where you go when you're super hungry. I recommend trying out their six course meal. I my opinion Bertha is a place to go experience the food and different tasting sets. There should be enough variety in the menu for everyone. Nothing is perfect but don't be misunderstood it would be wrong to say that something is wrong. All the courses just ain't on the same level of excellency., some are more well rounded than others.

Service is topnotch it's just a bit confusing who are you supposed to be tipping when the waitress, sommelier and the cook's visit the table after another. One can argue about the price, it's not the cheapest but absolutely NOT over priced.

If you haven't been here and want to spend your summer fund to some where else than the local terrace Bertha is a good option.

Very nice food, friendly service, nice unassuming interior. The menu is 65€, which seems the right price range for what is offered. However, the dishes were all small and in my opinion mostly good rather than excellent. I also would have liked to get some bread with some of the courses, not just the soup. The most similar place I have visited in the Tampere area is Näsinneula, which has comparable dishes. All in all, the overall package didn’t convince me enough that I need to go back to Bertha in the near future, but if you are in the area and haven’t been, it‘s definitely...

Käytiin syömässä kolmen ruokalajin menu. Miljöö ihan hyvä. Tyylikäs sisustus, muttei erityisen tunnelmallinen. 3/5.

Palvelu oli hyvää, pari hassua hyvin pientä töppäystä, mutta hyvää. Ei erottunut mitenkään erityisesti, mutta kaikki tarpeet huomioitiin. 4/5.

Ruoka tuli nopeasti ja osittain ylitti kaikki odotukset, osittain ei.

Pitaleipä oli ainoa, joka tuotti pettymyksen. Ei ilmaa, ei sitkoa ja todella öljyinen. Valkosipuli ei maistunut. Se ei tuonut ateriaan mitään lisää, kokeiltiin sitä sellaisenaan ja eri yhdistelmien kanssa. Pullaa. Pitaleivän ei kuuluisi olla ihan sellaista. 1/5.

Suosittelisin tähän tilalle vaikkapa hieman sitkeää hapanjuurileipää (ei rapeaa) jolla voi kaapia esim. herkulliset kastikkeet lautaselta.

Sitten kaikki se loisto minkä takia kokemus oli kyllä käymisen arvoinen, pääruoka oli aivan upeaa, sekä kuha, että dry aged nauta. Lihojen maku ja rakenne olivat täydellisiä. Kastikkeet oli todella herkullisia ja kokonaisuus kuitenkin 5/5.

Erityismaininta perunoista. En ole missään syönyt niin hyviä frittiperunoita ikinä. Täydellinen suola, koostumus, pinta. Kuorissa on se maku! Voisitte korvata pitaleivän myös näillä perunoilla ja se veisi jo loistavan annoksen uusiin sfääreihin. Teki melkein mieli pyytää niitä annos mukaan.

Jälkiruoat (maistettiin molempia) oli todella uniikkeja ja herkullisia. Pidin siitä, että tässä oltiin lähdetty rohkeasti kokeilemaan eri yhdistelmiä. 4,5/5.

Annosten esteettisyys/pleittaus oli ihan hyvällä tasolla.

Kokonaisarvosanani on 4,5/5, mutta puolikasta tähteä ei voi antaa ja 5 täydellinen. Ehdottomasti käymisen arvoinen paikka...
