Robert's Coffee Stockmann — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

Absolutely dreadful visit. If it would be possible to leave zero stars, I would do so without hesitation. For context: me and my boyfriend were looking for a new spot to have some lunch, so we browsed on wolt to see what place to go to. He had picked out this specific cafe, because it had some offers I’d like and seemed like a pretty decent, viable option. When we entered the establishment, it was a bit disarranged. Floors quite displeasant, not much good to say about the cleanliness. He went to the counter and the clerk was immediately apprehensive. She saw that he was listing from wolt what we would like to have, because they had 1. No visible menu 2. We had never been to this establishment before. The cashier then started going on about how looking at items from wolt isn’t reliable and almost berated him for not knowing how the cafe works here. 🙄 He was really nice to her, trying to ask how it works then and what they offer; but she was just so hellbent on the fact he was looking at the item names on wolt. She was acting really immature and overall weird about the whole wolt thing. He ordered a coffee and I got a tea, when asked about the size of the drink he inquired what size options they have to which the cashier just rolled her eyes and pointed on the wall. It was apparently extremely inconveniencing to just let him know that they had a large and a small available in store, so pointing at the wall was a better option. After we had ordered (we spent 40€ in total!) she said ”I will call your order, because I have other customers to serve.”

Really, really rude and disrespectful. Never go here, the coffee was bland and the tea tasted old which is absolutely astonishing how you can make a bland of herbs taste old when they’ve already been dried and aged. Our salads were decent at best. Not worth it, please go to espresso house or fazer...

The coffee and other drinks served here are really good. We had a hot chocolate and a dirty chai latte which, granted, are found everywhere, but we could appreciate unique twists in the preparation here which tasted really good! The setting of this café is in a central shopping complex which isn’t really picturesque, but the drinks and friendly service sure make...

Robert's makes one of the best Chai Lattes in the world. The coffee lattes are excellent as well. Normally I prefer cappuccinos or coronados, but I actually look forward to...
