A very disappointing place. Starting with the atmosphere: fluorescent lighting creates a cold and uncomfortable environment, completely lacking the cozy feeling one expects when enjoying a glass of wine. The décor is outdated and tasteless. The service was both slow and inadequate. It took nearly an hour for the first glass of wine to arrive, and the staff demonstrated very limited knowledge about the wines. The menu offered few food options, and for the dishes we ordered, several ingredients were unavailable. Even worse, we were only informed of this almost 40 minutes after placing the order, leaving us unable to change restaurants as it was already late. For a Saturday evening, one would expect the restaurant to be properly prepared. The staff also made no effort to accommodate the fact that I do not speak Finnish and chose instead to ignore me. As someone with Portuguese roots, I found this particularly disappointing, as the experience completely stripped away the essence of what “Vinho” should represent. Read moreI visited on a summer Friday around 6 pm and the place was very quiet. I was welcomed by the most friendly staff and helped with my choice of wine and snacks. I opted for Finnish wine to give it a try, a small cheese and charcuterie plate and some olives. The wine was quite unique, and the food was excellent.
