Henry's Saloon — Restaurant in Ylivieska sub-region

Really nothing too positive to say about this one. Service friendly, but very amateurish. Table surfaces are not cleaned after customers (we got a very sticky one), they don’t tell you that you need to pickup the menu from inside to be table-served (it took us 20mins to realise that, when nobody paid attention to our group?!) and we saw/heard at least two glasses getting broken while making room to new customers. Food ok, if you don’t expect anything extraordinary. Surprise was they were short of some ingredients, although high season and that should have been taken into account. Terrace very nice with evening sun, but also shadow possibilities. Food price/quality very ok. Get some seasoned staff in the mix. The young ones are friendly but too inexperienced to run the whole show...

We ordered 7 dishes and got 5 dishes....the staff were friendly enough to let us reorder. Than the second time I did get the onion rings I requested but with the wrong dip sauce. The french fries were very nice and big enough portion. The chicken "fingers" were big and good. The onion rings were unfortunately complete tasteles.the buffalo wings were good but not great. The pizza's looked delicious so I regret not ordering those instead. In overall the atmosphere looked great but the small menu and wrong deliveries to our table didn't make it a nice...

We went to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. All other restaurant were full except for this. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we were told that there was an hour queue in the kitchen. We still decided to stay and ordered two set of pasta and a chicken salad. After about 50 mins, the waitress said the salad was out of stock. We ordered a club sandwich then.
