Fantastic Spot in Évreux – A Must-Visit!

Mad Cats is an absolute gem! The burgers are amazing – great flavour, cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes are generous without being over the top. What really stood out, though, is how many vegan and vegetarian options they offer. It’s incredibly rare to find such variety, especially in this area, and they’ve really nailed it.

The restaurant itself has so much character – quirky, cosy, and full of charm. You feel like you’re somewhere special the moment you walk in. The restroom was spotless too, which is unfortunately something you can’t say for many places these days – definitely appreciated!

The staff were genuinely lovely – super friendly and welcoming. We speak very limited French but they didn’t make us feel awkward at all, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We arrived a bit early and decided to take a walk around the park just outside the restaurant. It’s beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a little stroll before or after your meal. Be sure to check out the greenhouse with the parrots – such a fun little bonus!

Probably the only place in Evreux where they know what Vegan means. And also likely the only place to enjoy some vegan junk food options. Lovely 3 vegan burger options in the menu. Privately own business. Great atmosphere that reminds me of typical English pubs. Owner speaks good English too. Very recommended. Located by the botanic Garden it is great for a digestion walk afterwards away from the city noise. Free parking after 6pm...

C'est le premier restaurant où j'ai mangé à Evreux et celui dans lequel j'ai le plus de plaisir à retourner. Les burgers sont les meilleurs que j'ai pu goûter. Tant les burgers végés que les non-végés, avec une mention spéciale pour le "rancher". Il y a beaucoup de produits fait maison et de produits locaux, dont les bières. Leurs coktails sont également très bons. Ils proposent de nombreuses options végétariennes/taliennes, des burgers au poisson et au poulet en plus du boeuf, de quoi convenir à tous les types de régime alimentaire. Je trouve le cadre très accueillant et cosy. La décoration leur est très personnelle et réussie. C'est toujours un plaisir de pouvoir apprécier de nouveaux dessins affichés. Les deux gérants sont tous les deux très gentils. Le service est rapide. Je vous conseille de réserver en fin de semaine. En résumé, c'est toujours une excellente idée...
