Amazing lunch and overall experience at Cafe Gilbert! It was comfortable upon arriving and made to feel at home right away. It is no surprise why local workers in the area frequent here for lunch.

I had the roast chicken with bernaise sauce, a savoury crumble made of feta, eggplant and cherry tomatoes (that I will be dreaming about) and a mache green salad.

Because my eyes were bigger than my stomach I had to order the savoury tarte tatin made with peppers and topped with burrata, if I could, I would have eaten a second round of everything!

From the moment you arrive, it's clear this place is truly special. The love and passion put into creating refined home-cooked classics are evident in every dish. The food is incredible, with generous portions, very reasonable prices, and high quality ingredients. The service is quick and always friendly. Extra bonus points that the iced coffee was the best I’ve had in the area!
