Francesca — Restaurant in Aix-en-Provence

We decided to have dinner here because we were staying at the Odalys hotel and also because we REALLY liked the Francesca place in Strasbourg. But((

Service: In the evening, only 2 girls work in the restaurant – for ALL processes. The owner of franchise is clearly saving on staff, because this is objectively not enough. The girls work frankly badly – for example:

when ordering, I asked to bring me an espresso while the pizza was being prepared… I was brought the coffee at the very end of the whole dinner – and even then! Only after they double-checked if I had really ordered and paid for it (good thing I asked for a receipt when paying).

with the pizza (1 for 2 people) we ordered 1 salad each. When they brought us the pizza – the salads were still missing. I reminded the girl – she said "elle arrive". When after 3 minutes they were still not there – I reminded her again, noting that after we eat the pizza, the salads would make no sense. The salad was brought in a minute – just green leaves and a few cut olives, WITHOUT dressing (there was oil and balsamic vinegar on the table, that’s all).

Quality and taste of products: The pizza we got was hot – and that’s the only plus. Because in terms of ingredients it was clearly different from what was shown on the menu – I’m also attaching a photo-screenshot of the menu for comparison.

As for the salad – I already wrote about it – basically, it was just a mix of greens thrown, fresh (thanks).

Conclusion: Maybe when this place had just opened, it was better. Now – I feel sorry for the founder, because this place ruins...

Ich sitze hier gerade alleine im Restaurant und das hätte mir eine Warnung sein sollen 🙄 Ja, das Essen ist relativ günstig, aber wenn man zusieht, wie es gemacht wird, erklärt es den versalzenen und faden Geschmack. Die Spaghetti kamen vorgekocht aus einer Tüte in heißes Wasser und die Soße kam aus einem Art "Aleteglas" und wurde auch nur erwärmt... Krass, dass man sich damit Restaurant nennen darf. Die Spaghetti schmeckten irgendwie alt und vor allem nicht durchgekocht. Das brauche ich...

Travaillant dans le coin, j’ai été pour voir si le restaurant avait des Pains au chocolat ou des croissants. Résultat, le personnel me ramène les deux (croissant et pain au chocolat) en plus de cela, ils me les donnent sans vouloir m’encaissais. Merci au personnel et a la directrice, je reviendrais sûrement pour manger et cela plus d’une fois. Vous m’avez prouvé que les valeurs de l’HOMME sont inculpées chez RISTORANTE FRANCESCA et chez vos propres...
