La Dolce Serata - Aix en Provence — Restaurant in Aix-en-Provence

This restaurant is part of the Hotel Villa Gallici. It is located outside on a beautiful terrace, with a view on the pool and the hotel itself. The Hotel is just beautiful, surrounded by trees, it feels really private and special. The food was simply excellent, all cooked outside near the tables. We had the burrata, the beef and the tartar. Burrata was amazing, and so was the tartar, the beef polpette was very good as well but the quantity was a little disappointing. Nous avons été déçus. Nous étions des clients réguliers il y a quelques années, nous aimions beaucoup la cuisine et le service. Puis, suite à plusieurs refus de réservation pour restaurant complet nous n’étions plus venus depuis 2 ou 3 ans. Nous voulions découvrir le nouveau restaurant. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avons dû nous garer par nous même car personne n’était là pour nous indiquer où stationner (peu de place de stationnement). Quand le voiturier est enfin sorti de sa cabine, Il était sur son écran de téléphone ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse et le jardin magnifique. Concernant le repas nous l’avons trouvé excessivement onéreux au vue des quantités servies (3 ravioles à 45€ ! Pour ne citer qu’elles ….). Les plats se sont enchaînés à une telle vitesse je n’ai même pas eu le temps de goûter ce qui nous était proposé lors de l’apéritif …. Nous avions terminé notre repas en 45mn !!! Pour finir, lorsque nous avons voulu récupérer notre véhicule et partir, nous n’avons pas trouvé le voiturier. Nous avons dû chercher quelqu’un qui puisse nous restituer les clefs. Et lorsqu’enfin un jeune homme s’est déplacé et qu’on lui a dit que le service était à revoir, celui-ci a levé les yeux au ciel …. Mauvaise...

My husband and I dined at Dolce Sereta for lunch while we waited for our room to be prepared and we had such a lovely experience with Ramy and Analeese. The staff was exceptionally friendly and kind and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. The food was delicious (we split a margarita pizza and meatballs) and the views of the stunning property are unmatched....
