L'Auberge Ajaccienne — Restaurant in Ajaccio

My father and I stayed in Ajaccio for one night while travelling around Corsica and our accommodation host kindly highly recommended this restaurant. Being us foreigners, we weren't able to call with our phones to book a table. Therefore, I went on Google and the restaurant page offered to book a table online using The Fork app and so I check, and did book the slot available for 21:00. Quickly received a booking email confirmation and I was happy. Unfortunately my happiness ended up quickly when we arrived at the restaurant and after 15 minutes waiting outside, we were told that because we booked online our table was not available not earlier than 22:00. This maybe a good restaurant however, my first impression of the place was and remained negative. Après avoir pris quelques renseignements auprès des locaux nous avions le choix entre 2 restaurants nous avons choisis l'auberge Ajaccienne 😊, un choix qui s'avère payant . À notre arrivée nous sommes accueillis par le fils , très souriant , aimable et a l'écoute du client surtout avec nos enfants . Pendant l'apéritif vos narines seront soumises à dur épreuve, car les odeurs émergents de la cuisine vous ouvriront rapidement l'appétit . Avec ma fille de 10 ans nous avons choisis les pâtes aux fruits de mer avec lequel j'ai pu redécouvrir le vrai goût des fruits de mer 🥰 . En cuisine c'est le papa qui se pli en quatre pour vous offrir des plats succulents, car il n'y as pas que les odeurs ou la présentation du plat qui est excellent le goût aussi .
