Es gibt Orte, die verdienen keine Bewertung, sondern eine kleine Ode – und dieses Restaurant gehört eindeutig dazu. Schon beim Eintreten umwehte uns der Duft von Knoblauch, Tomate und jener Art von Lebensfreude, die man nicht lernen, sondern nur leben kann.

Der kleine Innenhof – charmant umrahmt von Wohnblöcken – entfaltete beim Eindunkeln fast eine theatralische Intimität: als hätte Fellini persönlich das Licht arrangiert. Ein Ort, an dem das Glas klirrt, Stimmen murmeln und das Leben kurz einmal ganz rund wirkt.

Doch das eigentliche Herzstück des Abends war der Kellner: eine Ein-Mann-Symphonie aus Effizienz, Witz und korsischer Nonchalance. Zehn Tische, ein Lächeln für jeden, charmant, aufmerksam, humorvoll. Er jonglierte Bestellungen, servierte Weine und nahm sich dennoch Zeit für ein paar ehrliche, persönliche Worte – nie aufdringlich, immer herzlich. Bei ihm fühlte man sich nicht wie ein Gast, sondern wie ein wiedergefundener Freund.

Die Küche? Kreativ, herzlich, überraschend – wie eine gut gelaunte italienische Nonna mit leichtem Künstlerkomplex. Die Teigwaren: al dente mit Charakter. Die Weinauswahl: ausgesucht ohne Allüren. Die Köche: sympathisch, man sah sie manchmal kurz durch den Hof schmunzeln – als wollten sie sicherstellen, dass ihr Essen auch wirklich Freude macht. Tat es.

Epilog: Ein Kellner lacht, ein Weinglas klingt, der Abend schmeckt, das Herz beschwingt. In Pasta, Charme und Sonnenduft – liegt pures Glück...

Pasta was good, nothing special though. Mousse au chocolat was nice! When we booked the table the night before we were requested to be very much on time, but when we showed up the next night, the restaurant was still quite empty though. We were then seated at a table and when we asked to switch with another one of the many empty tables we just got the answer "no, it is booked" (as did we). Our selection was good (starter, gnocchi and a tartare) but the location in a tiny alley is not the best, service was friendly but a bit messy and prices a bit on the higher side.
