au refuge gourmand — Restaurant in Albertville

We had dinner here with a party of 11 to close off a great week of skiing. We had a reservation at 9 but we had to wait an additional 20 minutes outside in the cold while they were cleaning our table. Once inside we were guided to the “cosy” upstairs area. We had someone with us who had a ski accident so the stairs were not ideal. This was not mentioned beforehand. Once upstairs we were met with three coffee tables which had to serve as our dinner table. There were no chairs, just some wooden benches of different hights and some pouffes. This lead to some of our friends having to eat their dinner on their knees as the wooden bench was too high to use the table. The food was ok but nothing special. Some of us ordered a côte a l’os, which was chewy and overal very overpriced seeing the quality. Conclusion, I would not recommend to come here with a large group if you want to have a nice dinner. And if you do, stick to the burgers and the tartiflette. The staff remained very friendly and professional during all this, no complaints in...

Family of 5 went for dinner. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The food was delicious. The service was so prompt and the staff were very attentive. It was a pleasure ti eat there and it was the best place we ate in throughout our entire holiday. It is well worth a visit. You will need to make a reservation though...we are sorry we only got to eat there once during our week in Les Arcs 2000. They do take away too. We spent around €50 per person because we had alcoholic drinks, starters, mains and deserts. It is good valur compared to other places...

Very disappointed with the shared meat course (on the specials menu), which was not cooked as requested and the joint itself was not good meat. Waited a long time for it to be (re)cooked correctly. We think the order was mis-communicated to the chef. Having waited ages we were then kicked out after 2 hours because the table was required for second sitting. A pity, because the interior is nice and we were looking forward to trying this restaurant, having had good experiences at several of the others in Arc 2000, including "Savoy", "Taj-I-Mah" and...
