Shocking meal at this awful restuarant. The French Onion soup lacked even a hint of taste, and an embarrassment not only to the French but soup itself. Other dishes taken straight from the freezer couldn't even be cooked correctly, indicating the Chefs inability to operate a microwave. On presenting our feedback of the meal to our waitress, it was our taste buds rather than the offensive soup that was the issue. The rot in this place runs deep both back and front of house. The table next to me ordered fondue, and even with a simple glance I could see the oily residue on top indicating cheap ingredients and poor execution of this Savioe staple. Another of our group sent their meal back to be cooked properly. Wrong drink served (original Coke vs Coke Zero). Serving staff confused about whether the mountain lunch was prepaid or not.
Yes there were a lot of people all arriving at the same time. But unfortunately serving up raw chicken is a food safety issue and the restaurant has to take responsibility for this. Onion soup was water, no flavour at all. Escargots were over cooked and lacked flavour.
Half the mains were inedible and when we ask them to remove the uneaten dishes from the bill after showing them the issues with the food they refused until they were threatened with multiple google reviews. They then removed 3 dishes.
Hands down worst service I’ve ever experienced in a restaurant. They are more than happy to rip tourists off knowing that every week they have a fresh batch of victims to con!
