"The White Rose" Great pub with great atmosphere! I've visited this pub many times over the years with my first visit being back in 2009. We always visit at around 4 - 5pm after snowboarding down to la daille from the infamous La Folie Douce. The tree lined runs down to the pub are great fun, enhanced by the fact that everyone is usually in the 'party mood' having spent the last few hours in 'Folie" The pub has a warm cosy feel inside and a spacious terrace outside. The latter often having live music or a DJ spinning an eclectic mix of cool, funky beats! The staff are always friendly and approachable and often contribute to the lively atmosphere. Another plus point is that the free bus service that takes you back to Val d isere / Le Fornet is just outside the pub with buses leaving every few minutes. We sat and had lunch here one day this week. A very good location while being able to watch everybody come down the hill.

The food menu was quite limited but you didn’t really need anything more.

From around 4:30/5pm, the bar/cafe turns into a very busy and popular Apres Ski destination and with it being postponed at the base of the gondola and next to the bus stop, it is a very attractive venue to end...

Superb location for a drink coming off of the slope (La Daille lift is just next door), and then staying around for apres ski and / or food.
